How many recipes are in the DVDs?
The videos feature almost 3 hours of information and over 30 recipes. The accompanying recipe book features another 25 bonus recipes.
Do any of the recipes in the dvds or book contain oil?
No, none of the recipes contain any oil, only fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds as the main ingredients.
How many more recipes are in the accompanying recipe book that are not in the DVDs?
Approximately 25 additional ones not featured in the DVD are to be found in the bonus recipe book.
Are these recipes 80/10/10 or Natural Hygiene "friendly"?
These new recipes are the perfect combination between healthy and "gourmet." Some recipes are completely fat free, while the other ones contain a reasonable amount of nuts, seeds or avocado. We've also used easy-to-find seasonings (like onion, garlic or spices) in some recipes for flavor. All recipes taste amazing and are super healthy.
Keep in mind that these recipes are COMPLETELY different from my previous Low Fat Raw Vegan Cuisine DVDs which contained almost no seasonings. Of course, it's possible to use the dehydrated vegetable seasonings we show at the beginning of the DVD to add whole food flavor to your dishes and/or to replace some ingredients you may not want.
Does the accompanying recipe book contain photos?
The printed recipe book does not include photos, but the PDF ebook version does. This PDF version is also included in the Gold and Platinum version. Due to high printing costs for color books, we've decided to keep our product more affordable by not adding photos to the printed version, but make them available in the eBook.
I am allergic to nuts and sesame. How many recipes can I use out of the DVDs that don't contain nuts and sesame?
About 20 recipes in the DVD don’t have nuts, or where nuts can be omitted or substituted. In the accompanying recipe book (which includes recipes from the dvd and bonus recipes) there’s about 35 recipes that don’t have nuts. So about 65% are nut-free/can be modified in DVD and 65% in the available accompanying recipe book.
Do your recipes use agave?
Most of the recipes contain whole foods only. There are a few (about 3 recipes) that need a liquid sweetener so agave or another liquid sweetener of choice can be added. You can also just blend some dates with water in a Vitamix and try using that instead if you are concerned about agave.
