"
Is it mainly the glycerin in regular toothpastes that is bad for the teeth? Does that mean I shouldn't use regular toothpastes now and then or alternately?”
ANSWER: Commercial toothpastes as well as natural toothpastes contain lots of ingredients that are unhealthy, such as sodium lauryl sulfate (foaming agent). Teeth are best cleaned with a brush or electric brush and toothsoap. However, even if you use toothsoap you can use other toothpastes now and then and I'm sure you will notice the difference.
