GREENS, VITAMIN D AND BEE POLLEN
“I have some questions that don't need really long explanations.
1. How much is enough greens?
2. What about Vitamin D supplements if Full Spectrum Lighting isn't an option?
3. What do you think about Bee Pollen? Thank you so much for your time.” - Matthew
ANSWER: About greens, we go into more details in the Green for Life Program. Basically, 1-2 pounds of greens per day is about what we need. But then, if they are blended they are much easier to assimilate, so in that case we might need less.
About vitamin D supplements, they might be necessary if you don't get any form of sunlight for months at a time.
About bee pollen, I'm not against the consumption of fresh bee pollen. I have eaten it before and liked it. It's not as sweet as honey and is very delicious. However, the dried bee pollen supplements sold in the store as “superfood” have very little value.
