ARE FLAX SEEDS GOOD FOR US?
“Please inform me if flaxseed is healthy for the human being. If so please explain how to prepare it for the best assimilation.”
ANSWER: Flax seeds contain some goodies: essential fatty acids, minerals, etc.
Those nutrients can also be found in a variety of foods: other nuts and seeds, green vegetables, etc.
Flax seeds eaten whole are not digested. They are eliminated in the stools almost intact.
To digest them, you need to either blend them or ground them first.
I'm not against flax seeds. Some can be beneficial, but I don't recommend flax oil.
