Hey Fred, loved your video about not comparing ourselves to others… Very wise advice…
I am so glad you seem to be enjoying Greece and relaxing in it… Have you been/will you also come to Athens? Feel free to contact me via email if you would like any advice about what to see and do, where to find organic food etc.
With love,
Xenia

I love your videos, Frederic! They always answer things my friends ask me or I wonder about in a really down-to-earth understandable way

Nice video Fred. However, I definitely want the people I model my lifestyle on to look extremely healthy. I am completely sold on the concept of 80/10/10. It makes perfect sense to me. However, after meeting Doug Graham in person, I was disheartened because he did not look healthy to me. In fact, I thought he looked very unhealthy with dry, dull skin and eyes that were not bright or clear.
So even if he feels great and have amazing energy etc, something seems to be missing. This, and the fact that I’m not getting the results others are getting, makes me wonder if the theory of 80/10/10 really works in the long run.
I will admit that I have seen plenty of young athletic people on the web looking great on 80/10/10. However, since Doug has been doing this for longer than anyone else, I have to judge his looks more critical than someone who is younger and have only done this diet for a few years. As we know, young and active people can do well on almost any diet.
I really want 80/10/10 to work but I’m worried that something may be missing.

Finally someone in the health field said the truth- there is no one right way for everyone. Comparing and judging don’t work. Let yourself be your own guide.
Right on Frederic. -
Great Show !! Like you said we all have a Path. and it’s not only the Food that effects us – it is color, music and our life styles. So a person could be going thru stress (detox) that is caused by the color they are wearing (black, red, brown, dull impure colors all have a neg. effect) Or neg music. TV programing – it all determines what you let into your world thru your attention.

While on Crete, stop at one of the handmade ‘Flokati’ carpet shops where you can buy a long lambswool rug sold by the kilo.
I’m not religous, but I find wisdom in the 10 commandments and the 10th says: Don’t covet (or desire) your neighbor’s (or someone elses)… In order to do that you have to ‘compare’-then you make a judgement: I’m superior (arrogant) or inferior (jealous/not content) with that part of my life. To thine OWN self be true.
A few random thoghts…no offence to anyone intended.

Frederic- I love the “tour guide videos” you are treating us to. As far as people judging others that is the story of my life in fitness & wellness from when I was 133 at 6 ft. tall all the way up to gaining 75 lb with diet and weight training. When I started, people would see me with more food and comment, “Chris you are getting skinnier every day” but I persevered and discovered the proper weight training and diet that worked at the time, 35 years ago. Fast forward to vegan, then raw eleven years ago. All the way people judged me. At one point when I had my first wellness/ fitness center a rumor spread that I used steroids since, “Nobody could get that much muscle without them”. I didn’t know to be upset or complimented, since my super lanky poor leverage genetics and bad back made it extremely hard to gain weight, especially in the right places! Each time I went vegan and raw I lost enough weight that people thought I was sick. but both times I gained it back after a few years. Raw was the best of all since it allows the building of the best muscle and the fastest recuperation, especially when I finally got it right for all around health. Every time I told my story I could see people looking at me closely all during these decades… it became a source of bittersweet amusement for me. But as you said, it is the track record that counts…over long periods of time… this is the best way to prove stability and results of any diet and wellness plan.

Dear Frederic,
is it possible to set a meeting in Athens (Greece)?
Happy vacations!

great advice….really really so important to not judge others for how they look
we just never have enough information and we dont want to be judged by others as well…. -
Great overview! Yes, people also make assumptions, sweeping generalization, tend to have a myopic perspective (don’t get the full picture), project… (and that’s my short list
People also tend to make their personal experience as a rule for all.
