Today I have a great interview to share with you with Katie Mae, who’s a nutritionist based in Northern California, and a plant-based diet specialist.
In this interview, we discuss everything about the SOS-free diet. That is, a plant based diet that is free of salt, oil and sugar. Katie shared her experience with me of using this diet with incredible results. We also talked about her work with the True North Health Center, a fasting center in Santa Rosa that recommends this diet.
You will find something useful in this interview!

Recently I created some controversy with a video on a particular product of “unprocessed water” that some people took personally, which was not the point of the video. The essence of the discussion however revolves around water and finding a pure source that still fits within your budget while maintaining a health lifestyle.
As a raw foodist I still believe the best source of water for proper hydration and mineral content is from fresh fruits and vegetables including juicy fruits and fresh coconut water. When you are consuming water rich foods your body will obviously require less actual drinking water as well.
Right now my fiancee and I are in Costa Rica, as we have been for the past 4 months, enjoying local produce and young coconuts daily.
I want my readers and viewers to take the responsibility of health into their own hands and not rely solely on others to tell them what to buy and how to live.
Critical thinking is key with regard to a healthy lifestyle and mind.
I’m releasing an interview I did recently below with my friend Wayne Gendel from Forever Healthy in Toronto. We covered some interesting points about water, including:
– Is spring water safe?
– What is the best way to purify water?
– Can you assimilate rock minerals in spring water?
Wayne and I will be doing a teleconference soon for people who want to know more about water and the best purification methods, so stay tuned for that. Make sure you’re subscribed to the list for an announcement.

Before heading out for the weekend, I want to share something with you that has really inspired me today. A speech that could really have a big impact in your life.
It’s a speech by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computers, that he gave to Standford gratuates in 2005.
It’s only about 15 minutes long, but it’s definitely a message that can come at *exactly* the right time for you and right in line with our discussion of making a living doing what you love.
Steve Jobs is one of my heroes. Definitely one of the top three people I admire the most in the world.
I remember about 8 years ago, when I put out the first issues of my newsletter Just Eat An Apple, when I actually got an order from Steve Jobs for it.
He only purchased that… the one year subscription to Just Eat An Apple. Maybe it was because of his interest in the raw vegan diet. In any case, we were really excited.
Of course the first issues of the newsletter were really silly and juvenile, but it drew my attention to this man and it was at about this time that he was making his remarkable comeback at Apple computers.
The speech I want to share with you is something I’ve been wanting to find for a long time.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
