7 Free Online Tools and Resources For Raw Food Enthusiasts

Have you ever wondered where to go online to find information about raw health and nutrition? Personally, I think websites are like recipes. You might “try” a hundred but eventually, you’ll go back to just a dozen or so on a regular basis.
In this article, I will reveal some of the top free online tools and resources for raw food enthusiasts. I’m sure you’ll discover at least a few that you didn’t know about, that you’ll end up going back to again and again.
1- Raw Recipe of the Week

Many of my readers still say “You should put recipes in your e-zine!” Obviously, they are not aware that I publish another e-zine called “Raw Recipe of the Week.”

2- Soil & Health Library

This is one of the best-kept secrets on the web by far for natural health and raw food enthusiasts. It is a free online library on Natural Hygiene and health. You can find hundreds of titles in digital format — many Natural Hygiene and health classics that cannot be found anywhere else.
You can read old books by Herbert Shelton (the founder of Natural Hygiene) and other fascinating titles.

3- Fitday

This is the best online tool for keeping track of your diet. It’s very useful to find out how many calories you are consuming and what’s the percentage of fat in your diet.
I wouldn’t suggest being obsessed about it, but especially at the beginning I think that it’s important to have an accurate idea of these figures.
I challenge you to go to http://www.fitday.com/ and enter all the foods you eat for the next few days.
Ask yourself the following questions:
- Am I consuming too much fat (more than 15%)?
- Am I consuming enough calories?
You can even keep track of your daily activities, keeping in mind that the goal should be to burn at least 500 calories per day in fitness activities.
4- Dr. Graham’s Bulletin Board

It’s no secret that Dr. Doug Graham is one of the foremost authorities on human health and raw food nutrition. His knowledge shines in everything he does (for example, the Perfect Health Program http://www.perfecthealthprogram.com), and he’s also very passionate about his work.
Dr. Graham charges $600 per hour for a private consultation (and it is worth it!), but he’s quite available on his bulletin board to answer questions that newbies might have.
This board is definitely a great resource for raw health and fitness.

5- Raw Wide Web

Robert Purcell, a graduate of our Body Enlightenment System (http://www.bodyenlightenmentsystem.com), recently started a great site that compiles different online resources for raw food.
This is one of the best and easiest to use resource sites on the topic, and it’s just getting started. Definitely worth a visit.

Steve Prussak is the founder and host for Raw Vegan Radio, the world’s premier online radio and podcast on the raw vegan diet.
He’s got a series of very interesting guests. Check out the latest appearance by your author!
